Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at Sam Houston Ave in Georgetown, TX on August 8th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 1:24 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 was headed northbound on Rockridge Lan before allegedly failing to yield right go way from a stop a pulling into the path of an eastbound Chevrolet Trax. Reports say the two vehicles collided, the impact causing both vehicles to veer from the road and catch fire. Sources say the driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 41-year-old Ryan Bonner, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured was a 32-year-old passenger, who was not publicly identified. The driver of the Ford, also not publicly identified, was fatally injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
