Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 71 in Bastrop County, TX on January 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:36 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tundra operated by a 44-year-old Katy woman wash headed eastbound, approaching a pedestrian. The pedestrian, identified as 46-year-old Ryan Killingsworth was in or near the roadway as the vehicle approached before he was struck. Killingsworth suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
