Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 16 in Atascosa County, TX on July 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:50 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tundra headed eastbound on FM 140 is alleged to have disregarded a red traffic light before proceeding into the intersection with Hwy 16. There, reports say the vehicle collided with a northbound Chevrolet Silverado C2500. Authorities say 35-year-old Silverado passenger, identified as Sabrina Gomez, was seriously injured. The driver of the Chevrolet, who was not publicly identified, had less serious injuries, reports say.
