Police say the incident happened around 3:49 p.m. Investigators believe a GMC Acadia operated by 35-year-old Salvador Hernandez was northbound, approaching the intersection with Hunter Ferrell Rd. Reports indicate a tractor-trailer was in the process of performing a turn onto Belt Line Rd on an alleged green light as the GMC proceeded into the intersection on an alleged red light. Officials say the two vehicles collided, the impact causing the GMC to roll, ejecting Hernandez from the vehicle.
