What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that injured at least one person at US 181 in Floresville, TX on December 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Grand Caravan was turning west from US 181 onto County Rd 130 before allegedly running a red light. As a result, reports say the vehicle collided with a Jeep Compass at the intersection, which authorities say had right-of-way. Sources indicate an occupant of the Jeep, identified as 37-year-old Samantha Yarborough, was seriously injured.  Two other occupants of the same vehicle had less serious injuries, police say. The occupants of the Dodge all had possible but unconfirmed injuries, according to reports. Additional information was not available.
