What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash they believe involved alcohol at I-635 in Dallas, TX on October 4th, 2021. Officials say it happened around 12:55 a.m. A Honda Accord operated by 34-year-old Samir Ahmed was headed northwest on 635 when it veered from the road into a construction retaining wall. It then rotated and overturned, partially ejecting Ahmed from the vehicle. Police say Ahmed suffered serious injuries in the crash and believe he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
