Authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at I-35 in San Marcos, TX on August 2nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Explorer headed northbound is said have entered onto a ramp with a concrete barrier, due to construction. The vehicle is said to have traveled northbound on the incomplete ramp before traveling off  a hill at the end of the shoulder and coming to land in the southbound lanes. Authorities say the driver, identified as 41-year-old Sammy Ferrel, was fatally injured. Additional information was not available.
