El Paso Police are investigating a crash that injured one person involved at N Piedras in El Paso, TX on April 12th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 2:03 a.m. According to investigators, a scooter headed southbound on Piedras was struck at an intersection by a Chevrolet Malibu turning at the intersection. Officials say the scooter operator, identified as 32-year-old Samuel Bryan Ponce, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Authorities say the other driver, identified as 18-year-old Carlos Manuel Rivera, was allegedly arrested in connection with crash. Additional information was not available.
