What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 82 in Cooke County, TX on July 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC C1500 operated by 21-year-old Samuel Ramos was turning left from an incorrect lane to enter a crossover when it was struck by a Ford F-250. The impact pushed the GMC inso a center median while the Ford overturned. Ramos suffered fatal injuries in the crash while his 20-year-old passenger was seriously injured. The driver and passenger of the Ford were evaluated to possible injuries.
