Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 59 in Victoria County, TX on August 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:35 a.m. A motorcycle operated by 45-year-old Samuel Sanchez was headed south in US 59 at an unsafe speed when it lost control and veered from the road. It traveled into a grass median and overturned after hitting a carrier. Sanchez, who suffered serious injuries, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
