DeSoto Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident at I-35E in DeSoto, TX on July 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4 a.m. According to investigators, a Lexus ES350 is said to have been headed southbound before colliding with a man walking in or near the roadway. Following to collision, police say the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The man struck, identified as Samuel Stroggins, suffered fatal injuries. Police are currently searching for the vehicle and driver involved and had no additional information to share.
