What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Stallings Dr in Nacogdoches, TX on October 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:45 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 59-year-old Nacogdoches, TX man was reportedly headed northbound in an inside lane of Stallings Dr when it allegedly performed an unsafe lane change, striking a Kia Rio operated by 45-year-old Sandra Arvizu Flores. The Kia briefly veered from the road before coming into the contact with the truck again, forcing it from the road where it then flipped overt. Flores suffered minor injuries in the incident while the truck driver was not injured. Officers issued an Unsafe Lane Change charge against the driver.
