Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at FM 2644 in Maverick County, TX on April 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:27 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Journey operated by 66-year-old Hector Manuel Patino collided with a tractor-trailer that was overturned from a previous crash. Police say part of the tractor-trailer was blocking the roadway when it was struck by the Dodge. While the driver of the tractor-trailer was able to exit the vehicle prior to the collision and did not report being injured, Patino and his two passengers had injuries. Police say Patino had non-life-threatening injuries while 65-year-old Sandra Carrillo Patino and 43-year-old Delila Tellez had more serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
