What Happened

Flower Mound Police identified the person killed in a crash at Long Prairie Rd in Flower Mound, TX on December 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Investigators say 63-year-old Sandra K. Luedke was on-foot as she attempted to cross from the eastbound side of the road to the westbound side. They say she was not using a crosswalk at the time and while crossing was struck by a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Luedke was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. While the incident remains under investigation, officials say there are currently no pending charges.
