Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Damascus St in Ector County, TX on June 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle headed southbound d is said to have lost control for unclear reasons before veering from the road into a bar ditch and partially ejecting its occupants. 53-year-old passenger, Sandy Basham, was seriously injured, reports say. The driver, age 27 and not publicly identified, allegedly had less serious injuries. Sources indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued.
