Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is said to have failed to control its speed for traffic ahead before colliding with the rear of a Subaru Forester operated by 74-year-old Sarah Chapman. Officials say both Chapman and 82-year-old passenger, Ronald Chapman, suffered serious injuries in the crash. The truck operator was not injured, according to police.
