Officials in Comal County, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on February 9, 2025, at approximately 4:58 p.m. on South Access Road. According to investigators, a Toyota 4Runner traveling northwest collided head-on with a incoln Navigator traveling south.

Authorities report that the crash resulted in suspected serious injuries to three passengers in the Lincoln Navigator, including a 12-year-old , an 11-year-old, and a 10-year-old. The 16-year-old female driver of the Lincoln and a 37-year-old passenger, identified as Sarah Lyons,  sustained minor injuries. The 42-year-old  driver of the Toyota, who was not publicly identified, suffered minor injuries and was arrested for intoxication assault. Alleged contributing factors include alcohol impairment.
