What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 361 in Port Aransas, TX on June 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:16 a.m. A commercial cement mixer truck operated by a 28-year-old Ingleside man reportedly attempted to make a lane change from an eastbound lane into a westbound lane. In the process of this action, the truck clipped a Ford Focus operated by 21-year-old Sarah Sage Salazar. The impact caused the Ford to spin out into a median causing her non-life-threatening injuries. She had three passengers with her who were reportedly uninjured, as was the Ingleside man.
