What Happened

Police in Williamson County, TX, are investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that occurred on February 1, 2025, at approximately 7:33 p.m. at the intersection of Ranch to Market Road 2338 and County Road 245. A  Toyota Tacoma was traveling northwest when it failed to control speed and collided with the rear of a Yamaha YZFR1 motorcycle that was slowing to make a left turn. The crash resulted in a suspected serious injury to the 27-year-old male motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet. The 29-year-old male driver of the Toyota Tacoma was uninjured and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The incident was associated with failure to control speed and alcohol impairment.
