Police are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 80 in San Marcos, TX on September 26th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:26 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic was traveling through a parking lot while a Dodge Grand Caravan was stopped at a nearby stop sign. Reports say the Dodge proceeded through the intersection, allegedly failing to yield before colliding with the Honda, which allegedly failed to control its speed. Police say 25-year-old Dodge operator, Carlos Beatty, was seriously injured. The other driver, identified as 19-year-old Saul Gallegos, allegedly had less serious injuries.
