Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at TX 16 in Fredericksburg, TX on August 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti was headed northbound when it began to cross a center median. The vehicle traveled into a northbound lane before colliding with a Volkswagen Atlas. The Atlas veered southbound and was struck by a Ford F-150. The occupants of the Atlas, identified as 31-year0old Sebastian Flores Diaz and 31-year-old Andrea Flores-Dehoyos, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the Infiniti, identified as Shana Ann Bates, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
