What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Mockingbird Ln in Dallas, TX on August 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:48 a.m. A commercial truck towing two trailers operated by a 26-year-old Carrollton man was heading southbound on Mockingbird Ln when it made an improper turn. It struck a GMC Yukon operated by a 36-year-old Dallas man as well as a GMC Terrain operated by 23-year-old Selena Polendo. Both the Dallas man and Polendo suffered serious injuries. The Carrollton man was not injured.
