What Happened

A crash occurred at 3:27 p.m. in Bell County, TX, involving a Dodge Charger and a Toyota Camry on State Hwy 201.  Reports indicate that the Dodge Charger was traveling southbound in the center turn lane on Clear Creek Rd, waiting to turn left onto Johnson Rd. The driver of the Dodge allegedly failed to yield the right of way while making the turn, pulling in front of the northbound Toyota Camry. Reports say the Camry collided with the Charger. The driver of the Camry, 22-year-old Sequoya Johnston, allegedly sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital. A child in the Dodge was also taken to a local hospital for suspected injuries. The driver of the Dodge, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly cited for failing to yield the right of way.
