Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Roosevelt Ave and Ware Blvd in San Antonio, TX on July 20th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:31 p.m. A Ford Focus operated by 26-year-old Sergio Valenzuela Jr was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed, according to witnesses, before crossing a center line and colliding head on with a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 24-year-old Macdona man. Valenzuela suffered fatal injuries while the Macdona man and a passenger suffered minor injuries.
