Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 80 in Karnes County, TX on July 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:25 a.m. A Chevrolet Malibu operated by 33-year-old Seth Evins reportedly failed to yield right of way during a left turn and turned into the path of a northbound tractor-trailer operated by a 68-year-old Spring Branch man. The vehicles collided and slid from the road through a fence, causing Evins fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
