What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that injured one person at East Blvd and West 13th St in Deer Park, TX on December 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:13 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford 1-150 was allegedly northbound on East Blvd before it was struck by a GMC that allegedly ran a red light. Following the collision, reports allege the suspected driver of the GMC, Juan Delvalle, left the scene before entering into another vehicle and traveling northbound. The driver of the Ford, identified as Simon Guajardo, was seriously injured, reports say. Sources indicate a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge was recommended and/or issued against Delvalle.
