Texas Department of Public Safety officials have details on the crash that injured a driver at US 180 in Gaines County, TX on January 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:33 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 24-year-old Skyler Clark was headed westbound on US 180 while attempting to cross onto Ave G. Investigators say the truck collided with the front left of a tractor-trailer headed eastbound on US 180, causing Clark serious injuries. A 19-year-old passenger was evaluated for possible injuries. The truck driver, a 30-year-old Seminole man, was not injured.
