What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 1325 in Williamson County, TX on September 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:46 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet C1500 operated by 29-year-old Joshua Banks was headed southbound on FM 1235 when it attempted to turn left onto Quickhill Rd. The vehicle is said to have failed to yield right of way to a Honda CR-V operated by 37-year-old Jessica Stalling, the two vehicles colliding. The crash caused a passenger, identified as 38-year-old Sonia Moriado, to be partially ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries as a result. Stalling and Banks both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and officers recommended and/or issued a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter against Banks. Additional information was not available.
