Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 218 in Universal City, TX on August 28th, 2024.  Police are saying the incident happened around 7:51 a.m. According to investigators, a Ram 1500 headed northbound is alleged to have failed to yield right of way before turning left and colliding with a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Officials say the driver of the Mitsubishi, identified as 36-year-old Sophnielle Santana-Raposo, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified was allegedly uninjured.
