Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at State Hwy 8 in Bowie County, TX on January 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 3500 was southeast on Hwy 8 before colliding with a Chevrolet Cruze headed northwest. Police say the driver of the Cruze, identified as 47-year-old Spencer Hampton, suffered fatal injuries.
