What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Katy Rd in McLennan County, TX on March 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Pontiac G6 operated by 32-year-old Stacy Ann Salazar was headed southbound on N Katy Ln as a commercial truck operated by a 26-year-old Elm Mott man was headed northbound. The truck reportedly veered into an east died before going into a skid. It then began to roll, striking the Pontiac and coming to rest on top of the vehicle. Salazar suffered serious injuries in the crash while the Elm Mott man was not injured. Additional information was not provided.
