Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 249 in Grimes County, TX on January 22nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened round 3:23 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Maxima, operated by 26-year-old Stephen Oderinde, was northbound before the vehicle hydroplaned for unconfirmed reasons. Reports say the vehicle veered into a concrete culvert, causing it to flip over and into a nearby body of water. Oderinde was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from.
