Authorities are investigating a crash that that injured a driver at State Hwy 85 in Frio County, TX on April 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:17 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Impala is alleged to have overcorrected before crossing a center line into oncoming traffic and striking a GMC Sierra. Authorities say the driver of the Impala, identified as 35-year-old Steve Cruz Jr, was seriously injured. Two occupants of the GMC had non-life-threatening injuries while the driver had possible injuries. Authorities say alcohol is alleged to have been a factor in the incident.
