Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 2837 in McLennan County, TX on September 28th, 2021. Police are saying it happened around 4:45 p.m. A Ford F6000 operated by 40-year-old Steven Gilmore was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it a performed a faulty evasive maneuver to avoid colliding with another vehicle. This sent the vehicle into a skid into a grassy shoulder where it overturned multiple times before landing on a fence. Gilmore, who investigators allege was under the influence of alcohol, suffered serious injuries in the crash.
