Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at FM 1485 in Montgomery County, TX on July 14th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra headed westbound is allotted to have crashed into a westbound guardrail before allegedly entering into eastbound lanes. There, reports say the vehicle collided with an eastbound motorcycle, ejecting the motorcyclist from the vehicle into a nearby creek. The motorcyclist, identified as 36-year-old Steven Hester, was fatally injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured. Sources indicate that driver was charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid and Intoxication Manslaughter. Additional information was not available.
