Police say the incident happened around 3:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Tucson operated by a 56-year-old Houston woman was headed southbound before allegedly running a stop sign and colliding with the passenger side of a GMC Sierra. The impact caused the GMC to spin and strike a parked, unoccupied vehicle, leaving the driver with suspected serious injuries. The driver was identified as 42-year-old Steven Lopez Flores.
