Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-20 in Eastland County, TX on August 18th, 2021. Investigators say the incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. They believe that a Toyota Camry operated by 52-year-old Steven Mburu Nganga was traveling at unsafe speeds during rainy weather conditions which led to the vehicle losing control. It veered through a median and into the path of a Kenworth tractor-trailer operated by a 44-year-old Los Angeles, CA man. The vehicles collided, causing Nganga fatal injuries at the scene. The Los Angeles man was not injured. Further details were not readily available.
