Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Koether Rd in Washington County, TX on February 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:47 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer operated by 28-year-old Brenham was rounding a curve when it collided with the side of a Chevrolet Suburban operated by 43-year-old Steven Richard Butler. Investigators allege the driver had low road visibility while they believe the Suburban failed to control its speed. Butler suffered serious injuries in the crash while the Brenham man was not injured.
