Area authorities are investigating a crash the injured a woman at State Hwy 114 in Lubbock, TX on September 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:11 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was westbound in a left lane, approaching the intersection with 19th and Wausau Ave. Police say the vehicle attempted to turn northbound onto Wausau, allegedly failing to yield. The vehicle collided with a Nissan Cube operated by 56-year-old Sundi McLaughlin. McLaughlin suffered serious injuries in the crash, police say. The other driver was not injured.
