What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 183 in Bedford, TX on November 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:51 p.m. Police say that while traveling eastbound on TX 183, a Mercedes operated by 44-year-old Susana Sherfedinova may have suffered a flat tire and is said to have made a lane change from the left to right in an effort to leave the roadway. Investigators say the action led to a commercial truck failing to control its speed and colliding with the vehicle, pushing into a guardrail. The truck also crashed into the guardrail, however, the 50-year-old Haltom City driver, was not injured. Sherfedinova suffered minor injuries in the crash.
