What Happened

Texas Highway Patrol officials identified the person killed in a crash at Hwy 67 in Erath County, TX on July 13th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened when a 2015 Chrysler van operated by 50-year-old Tammie Lynn Combs collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler preparing to turn into a business lot. Combs suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Two child passengers, ages 10 and 8, were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
