Authorities in Gillespie County, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on March 26, 2025, at approximately 10:39 p.m. on State Highway 16. A Buick Century was traveling northeast when it lost control on a wet roadway and collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla traveling southwest. The 54-year-old Buick  operator, identified as Lana Andersen and 58-year-old passenger, Tammy Andersen, both sustained fatal injuries.
