What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-10 in San Felipe, TX on August 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 32-year-old Miami, FL man is accused of failing to control its speed in slowing traffic and colliding with a Toyota Camry operated by 41-year-old Ernesto Salazar. The Camry was pushed into a Jeep Wrangler operated by 51-year-old Scott Willey. Willey was not injured but a passenger, 50-year-old Tammy Willey had minor injuries. Salazar and the Miami man were not injured.
