Police from the area have information on a crash that injured a man at US 59 in Victoria County, TX on March 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:12 a.m. According to investigators, a commercial tractor-trailer operated by an unidentified 53-year-old Victoria man was was traveling northbound on US 59. The vehicle pulled into a shoulder in order to perform a left turn at a turn around, turning into the path of an approaching Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 27-yer-old Tampa, FL man. The two vehicles collided in the process, leaving the Tampa man with injuries believed to be serious. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The other driver was not injured, according to police. Additional information was not available.
