Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1189 in Hood County, TX on May 21st, 2023. Polices say the incident happened around 10:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 32-year-old Tanner Lane was traveling southbound before veering from a curve in the road for unclear reasons. Upon leaving the roadway, police say the vehicle crashed through a fence and traveled through a field before overturning and ejecting Lane from the vehicle.. The crash left Erwin with fatal injuries.
