Officials have information on a crash that injured several people at US 81 in Montague County, TX on October 27th, 2024. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is alleged to have been involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer that saw an engine detach from the vehicle. The debris is said to have impacted the windshield of an approaching Kia Telluride, which lost control as a result and entered into a nearby embankment. There, reprots say the vehicle struck multiple trees and caught fire, trapping its five occupants in the vehicle.
