What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Bellaire Blvd in Harris County, TX on June 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:54 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle was headed eastbound on Bellaire, approaching the intersection with Pavilion Drive. Police believe a Nissan Altima headed westbound performed a left turn onto Pavillon Drive. As it did so, it was struck by the motorcycle, ejecting its operator from the vehicle. The operator, identified as Taylor Tibbitts, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police did not have additional information available to disclose.
