Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Palace Ave and Frankston Hwy in Tyler, TX on April 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to reports, a vehicle operated by 19-year-old Tazaeveon Jackson was reportedly intended to perform a traffic stop but instead fled police custody. A chase ensued that ended when the vehicle allegedly ran a red light before colliding with another vehicle. An 18-yea-old female in the vehicle as well as Jackson were both seriously injured.
