What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have identified the person killed in a collision at I-20 in Howard County, TX on January 12th, 2022. They say the incident involved an eastbound Ford F-250 failing to control its speed and collided with the ear of a tractor-trailer operated by 62-year-old Scott Jerome Neal. Neal was not injured however Hillis suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Both drivers are said to have been wearing seatbelts. Additional information was not immediately available.
