Police say the incident happened around 7:33 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Jetta operated by a 19-year-old male who was not publicly identified was eastbound on FM 1021 before entering a center turn lane at the intersection with Old Pioneer Rd. Police allege the vehicle traveled into oncoming traffic onto the wrong side of the road before colliding with a Ford F-750. The crash left the teen with injuries suspected to be serious in nature.
